Background: While on patrol, Leo was attacked by strange invisible enemies. After being severely beaten, the ninja wound up being dumped in the river and floating out to Roosevelt Island, where there is an abandoned smallpox hospital. There he was attacked again and left for dead. Karai discovered him, but soon they were both attacked by the voices again and took shelter in a room in the basement of the ruined hospital. They are now there trying to figure out how much they can really trust each other and how far their honor is going to take them.
The enemies: There are at least 2 Invisible enemies. Even with superb blindfighting capabilities, Leo was not able to land a blow, suggesting that they have no physical bodies. However, they are able to inflict harm with fists, feet, and weapons. They seem to also have other physical limitations: for example, they cannot pass through walls and are limited by the physical environment the way a normal person would be: fences, doors, walls, etc. They cannot fly or anything like that.
They are excellent fighters, although their fighting style is not ninjitsu. With each attack they seem to grow a bit weaker, and Leonardo discovered that a dagger they wounded him with has become visible after a while. Leo isn't sure, but he thinks they may have something to do with Winters. His only clue was the dagger, which has the appearance of an ancient artifact; strange carvings on the hilt, etc.
Leo: has a broken arm; a dagger embedded in his shoulder; various slash wounds, cuts, and bruises; and an alarming head wound. He is using his bandanna to staunch the head wound and a cloth Karai offered him to keep the dagger stable until he can get better medical attention. He lost both of his swords; his cell phone was destroyed when he was thrown in the river.
Karai: Has been wounded by a spear-like weapon in the abdomen. She's not breathing well but is keeping up a very strong front for Leo; she does not want to display weakness before him even though she may be seriously hurt. Karai DOES have a cell phone.
Neither of them want to admit that they need each other's help.
Other Players:
Clues: They could get nervous that Leo has not checked in; if the other turtles go searching for him, they might discover Leo's lost swords and suspect foul play. The Voices may attack them and let slip that they thrashed Leo earlier. You might be able to capture one of the voices and torture it into revealing his location.
