Huh...it didn't post.
So the basic idea of this one is the first meetings with Karai's Foot?

Well, the game where they actually first MEET Karai would be separate, but yeah, I would think Karai would be involved with the Foot here. This would be--if I followed Mike's planning right--the first game leading up to Leo being sent away by Splinter.

So what are our (Raeve and I's) roles gonna be? Since I haven't been set in Don and it sounds like Karai isn't going to actually be there.

Wait--Karai is in this game, right? Or have I read this wrong? I think what is confusing everyone is that this game is not going to be where the turtles FIRST MEET Karai--rather, it is where the Foot are running amok (right Mike?) and playing havoc with the city. So Karai would be there. So we'd probably need Foot soldiers and possibly more good guys too?

Hmm. Okay, I think I'm getting it. Sorry for the confusion folks. Sounds like what you want are some faceless Foot to do some battling against, right? So in regards to Karai, she'd not be involved with the turtles at all but rather just hovering there overseeing? I might be completely off the mark here, but eh. Anyhoo, it's doable if that's what you want. I'm sure Seas would be happy to play Footsies with me too if it's still undecided on the Don thing.

I think Leo was looking more for original characters than simply extras. For example, if Seasons so desired, he could maybe create a second in command type character (if he wanted to work with Karai).
We think Seasons would be better suited to play a villain, based on his history you mentioned and the applications submitted.

Yes, this. The sky is kind of the limit here. There's no right or wrong way. Karai could have a rival instead of a second in command, if you want. There is no specific plot for this game.

Ah, that sounds good. To be honest, I'd appreciate another 'villian' to play off of. Karai's a little more 3 Dimensional and fun to play when there's someone there for her to get all confused about honor, loyalty and all that jazz with. When it's simply her in command I'd imagine she's bound to keep conflicting emotions inside and simply go easier on the turtles.
...Well, even if that makes little sense, I know what I mean. I'll talk it over with Seas to see what could be most fun for us all!

Ok, so, putting down the idea Karai and I talked over for what Anton and Karai could be doing during this.
The basic idea is that Anton took a squad of Foot who are the least honorable off to perform his own dirty deeds. However, Karai finds out and goes to confront him while the Turtles probably interrupt whatever he was having the Foot do. Thusly, we villains get interaction that can show just how the Foot are doing internally while the good guys get a nice fight, and can probably catch glimpses of the two 'leaders' speaking.

Interesting. What type of dirty deeds would the turtles be fighting against?

Anton likes to terrorize the people who get in the way of his plans. He likes it even more when they then come to him for help (as a lawyer). So, what better way to tie up small time business owners than staging break-ins at both shops that implicate the other?
They'd probably catch his people in the act at one of the two locations, since he won't do both at once.

Hmm interesting. I'm not following though, what he's gaining by tying up small time business owners?

The business slots go up for sale (best/worst case). Also works well as a means to intimidate other small businesses to pay for protection from their rivals. Not to mention the things they steal can be resold.
Really, its a small time thing, but its also a test of how dishonorable he can get the Foot to be.
