Raph's gone till Monday but we threw this idea around a bit today: perhaps looking for a good "finishing point" for each thread--cliffhanger or whatever--and then closing the thread and starting anew, so that we don't end up with a thread that has 45,000 pages to go through?
Yes? No?
I deleted (but saved) April's post. April, I'm thinking that it will go into the next thread of the story, once the Leo Tug-of-Rawr is sorted.
...
Yes. I'm the organized one, with my lists and charts and diagrams. I CAN'T HELP IT.

So let me get this straight. We finish up whatever's going down right now, end on a cliffy, and then figure out the gist of what's happening at the start of the new thread. Yes? I'm down with that.
And it's okay. Someone's gotta be the nerdy organized one.

Pretty much. I don't want to call the shots as to when a thread ends, because if any of you have anything in mind for your character in a certain thread and want to play it out, PLEASE SPEAK UP. I like how it worked with the first part of this RP, because it sort of gave some impetus to keep going. And it's just nice to have finished threads that go somewhere. XD

So, Donny boy, what'd you think about Leo's attack? Did you want to receive battle damage or would you like me too? I ALWAYS like to receive battle damage, haa haa, but I'm perfectly glad to share the pain if you'd prefer. :-)

Would you mind sharing the pain? I've always wanted to be wounded in battle!

Something about the chipper tones in which you are discussing this frightens me. A little.

Sounds good to me mate, I'm about to go out of town, so if you want to post in my stead, feel free. Raphael can just be flailing around blindly with y'know...moderate ninja skill. I don't imagine he'd have the precision Leo still does while blind, but y'know...he's still a ninja, so he's not just a giant buffoon. Weee.

So question for you all: I'm sensing it might be nearing an appropriate time to end this thread, what with the climax of "OMG LEO WTF WHERE ARE YOU GOING" battle of rageful fightingness. Agreement? Yes? No?
Secondly: Might it be useful to show the aftermath of this scene in two separate threads: A Don-Raph-April-(Splinter?) "what the hell is happening OMG heal Don's wounds!" thread and a Leo-/Karai "WE ARE WEIRDLY DRAWN TO EACH OTHER" thread. Once these are hashed out, we could resolve it all with a grand Finale thread.
THOUGHTS?

Yeah sounds good to me. I like the idea of separate threads, because Leo and Karai waiting on the rest of us when we're nowhere near them...lame.
Sounds good all around.

Should April start the Don-Raph-April one? Would they be bringing Wounded!Don to her, or back to the lair, or whatnow?

Hmm, Raph could feasibly want to bring Don up to April instead of through the grimy germ filled sewers, if he's thinking clearly enough to think of that. If he's not, he'd likely still call her right away, for help. YO, APRIL! BRING BIGGER BAND-AIDS!!!

I could actually start the new one too, if you'd like, whichever. I probably will be gone most of the day but back tonight, so speak up if you want me to.
